Writing for Children When working with children, Emma is keen to show that words are fun and the main aim of her workshops is to develop the confidence and creativity of the participants. Emma is currently working as a visiting poet in West Midlands schools as part of the Birmingham based Write On project. She also runs a children's writing group for Wolverhampton Libraries. She had two children's poems short-listed for the Belmont Poetry Prize 2005 and a further poem was highly commended in 2007.
