Writing for Children When working with children, Emma is keen to show that words are fun and the main aim of her workshops is to develop the confidence and creativity of the participants. Emma is currently a writer in residence for Wolverhampton Libraries. She is delighted to be working with the children and young adults who are part of the writers group WWWT (Wednesfield Writers With Talent). This project will culminate with a performance of the work produced. Emma also does regular workshops with dyslexic children and has a particular interest in working with children with learning difficulties. She has had two children's poems short-listed for the Belmont Poetry Prize 2005 and is writing a collection of children's poems as part of her residency.
